What is The BIRKMAN METHOD®?
Developed by Dr. Roger Birkman of Birkman International of Houston, this incredible assessment has been helping people around the world better understand themselves and their tremendous potential for the past 50 years. The Birkman Method assessment is being used by Certified consultants in many different areas, and all over the world. Katherine is one of the few consultants in Texas who uses it to guide students in their decision making process concerning college and career choices.
The ABOUT-U REPORT®
The ABOUT-U Report is driven by The Birkman Method® and takes the best of the BIRKMAN Assessment reports and puts them into language that is easily understood by teens ages 14 to 18, young adults and families. Katherine Collins, Pathways to College Founder spends several hours going over this report with your student helping him or her to truly understand the wonder of who he or she is. She will talk with them about their motivational interests, their strengths, and their needs and stresses.
She then helps your student apply this valuable information to their decision making concerning colleges, majors and careers. Ultimately, this leads students into the admissions process with a better understanding of their goals and future.
The ABOUT-U® is also offered to the parent(s) and sibling(s) of the student to help build a bridge of better understanding during this stressful time of transition.
